Alert policies

This should be a list of all alerts within MDO. You can specify recipients when an alert is triggered or apply other customizations to alerts as needed. If you create a new alert policy it could take up to 24 hours for it be ready to trigger.

You can see a list of default policies here along with a ton of useful information about alert policies. Some general info about policies is included below:

• Default policies
  • Can only modify a limited subset of items such as email recipients or disabling the alert.
• Custom policies
  • Can customize the severity and category
  • Can be on a single or repeated action
    • Can also look for unusual activity, this takes 7 days to establish what is "usual"
